Info page The one and only UK tap dance festival is organised by Associated Tap Dancers and has been running annually since 1995. In 2008 it will take place at the Toorak Hotel, TLH Leisure Resort, and the Cavendish Hotel, Torquay TQ2 5HL from May 30th to June 2nd. Instructors: Lee Farrow - Back by popular demand, Lee works as a freelance tap instructor on the South Coast, teaching both ISTD exam work and classes in his own tap style. His Dancers Days Out workshops are always heavily booked. Jo-Anne Scanlan - Jo’s passion for Tap has led her all over the world to study with many tap masters. She has worked extensively as a teacher, performer and choreographer and has been a hit at our Dancers Days Out. Melvyn Wingfield - A TapUK new-comer, Melvyn has proved a popular teacher at Dancers Days Out. He has owned dance schools and tap companies in the UK and France and is now teaching and performing throughout the UK. NEW: Jason Di Mascio - After a career performing an many well-known roles in the West End theatre, Jason now teaches at various dance academies and remains a firm favourite at our Dancers Days Out. Theme party on Friday evening, dance workshops (mainly tap, plus some others to sample) from 9am to 5.30pm Saturday and Sunday.
